If you live in one of the five boroughs of New York and have a household income less than $38,000 per year, you can also become a member of the LESPFCU through the People’s Center for Economic Independence (PCEI).

Once you are a member of LESPFCU, you can take advantage of our many affordable financial services, products and training!
Direct Deposit
Save yourself a trip to the credit union by signing up for Direct Deposit! With this service, your paycheck, pension check, social security, SSI, and other federal payments can be deposited automatically into your savings and/or checking account. With direct deposit, funds are deposited as cash, so they are available immediately.
This service is easy to sign up for, too. To do so, contact your payroll or pension fund manager with the following information:
- Your name
- Your LESPFCU account number
- LESPFCU’s routing number: 2 2 6 0 8 2 5 9 8
- Your Social Security Number
To sign up for Direct Deposit to your checking account, you may have to provide a voided check.
Cash Access and the Peoples ATM Card
With a Peoples ATM Card you can access your deposited funds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from thousands of Automated Teller Machines (ATM’s) worldwide. You can withdraw cash, transfer funds between checking and savings accounts, and check your account balances at any ATM displaying the NYCE or Cirrus logos. At LESPFCU’s branches ATM’s, you can make deposits too. You can even use your Peoples ATM Card to purchase goods or services from local merchants, supermarkets, gas stations, or any other vendors that accept payment by ATM card. Save money by using Co-op Network ATMs across the country.
LESPFCU members can do their banking FOR FREE at one of our ATMs. LESPFCU joined the CO-OP Network to offer members surcharge-free ATMs all across the country.

Money Orders
Money orders can be purchased for $1.50. The maximum amount for each money order is $1,000. Stop payment: $15.00, Photocopy: $3.00 each.
Automatic Bill Payment
You can pay your bills electronically from your savings or checking account without bothering with checks and money orders. Insurance premiums, utility bills, telephone payments, health club memberships, union dues, internet access fees and more can all be debited automatically from your account on the day they are due.
Bill Payment
Members can pay bills at LESPFCU for just $1.35! (NYCHA 2.00)
We are authorized to process payments for most of all companies.
Wire Transfers
LESPFCU enables you to do domestic and international wire transfers. Come to our branch and arrange to have funds transferred to family and friends in other countries and nationwide. You can also arrange to have other people wire funds directly to your LESPFCU account.
