As a member of the Lower East Side People's Federal Credit Union, you are part of a movement for economic justice in New York. Together, we’re advocating for bold policies that will strengthen our credit union and its role in empowering communities and advancing justice and self-determination.

As a member, you’re also part of the cooperative movement and the solidarity economy in NYC. This network promotes economic relationships among cooperatives rooted in solidarity and collaboration. From worker and consumer co-ops to finance, community land trusts and mutual housing co-ops, we are building community-led, democratically controlled organizations.
